"tired of being here without you baby. i am really missing you."*
. . . His profession is moving, and obviously heartfelt . . . I think this is what we all strive to find, and more so, feel when we connect with another who 'gets' us . . .
There is always much talk these days about which planets men and women are from, why our differences cause so much separation, and how communication is vital.
I tend to think instead, of how our ancestors lived, and what it's meant to be loved, and to love . . .
And I look to my Elders for the clues for happiness . . .
But who among us, in our generation, is able to put this out there in such a brave way?
I would venture to say only the warriors of our generation . . . those who know what love and loss truly means; those willing to accept what is, instead of what they see in media and false representations. Those who want a woman, not an image, and those who want to be accepted for who they are and can become. . .
those warriors who are brave and strong and acknowledge they are vulnerable as well; those who know these are strong words, not weak; healthy words, not un-manly; connection words, simplistic in form, yet emanating a depth that cannot be found in any other way,
except maybe the silent beauty of two coming together.
These are the warriors who are willing to risk whatever they fear internally, for the maiden who is worth it. The maiden who makes them the best man they are, and the best they can become.
Aho brave warrior.
* Many thanks to Alaska for graciously allowing me to quote his words, and his heartwarming sentiments. You are quite the man; many blessings to you!
