im interested in so many things i dont know where to start! what interests me most is my culture, my ancestors, my relations, due to the many aspects of the way we once were, to take those values and concepts into your own modern thoughts and actions and to apply the philosiphies into your everyday life is to open your mind to the world.. so yea i take a good amount of intrest in trying to higher my knowledge.. im intrested in the native arts and ive learned to do porcupine quill work, moccasins, beadwork, and a bit of quilting, soon to master the the art of the starquilt! i jus learned how to make rawhide so im all happy! ayes..

my goals for now are to finish this fall with flying colors @ Sinte Gleska University here on the rez! and of course i want to finish this teaching year with all or most of our students with passing grades and meet AYP standards so that we can get our fat cut check from tha state... in the long run im going for my degree in Lakota History & Culture to teach our Wakanyeja our ways in the classroom.. also i'm going for traditional arts so that way i can teach the kids our ways of pasttimes.. my heros are my ancestors because they fought for us to the death and achieved as much as they could for us in hopes we would live on.. also my heros are my family and friends and relatives that have been there for me through thick an thin and help me pull through this challenge that is life... other heros i consider are people that teach me something new and open my eyes to a better outlook, whether it be a friend,relative, or complete stranger..

well i participate in alot of activities... so many i forgot! lol... Right now in the school that i work i conduct the after-school program that is the Drum Group with an emphasis on Lakota History & Culture. We do Traditional Arts and sing and dance. I was an asst coach for the girls bb team here this year and that was fun! I am still going to Sinte Gleska University and that is one big activity! but i LOVE my Lakota People and join our activities whenever possible..

i believe music is a necessity of life and so i listen to a wide variety and am open to all kinds of it as long as i can get into tha lyrics and vibe of it like i listen to:
r&b,soul,luv them oldies cuts,rock,reggae luv jammin Bob, hiphop, rap, nativehiphop,a lil bit of county cause i listen to tha infamous KINI 96.1!!,i get down to powwow,sundance,ceremony,an of course luv them 49s!

since my cable has been off i havent watchd too much tv! lol! but wen i do i like watchin bob barker in tha mornins at 10 The Price is Right!lol,always keep an eye on the news cause u never know!,family guy is funny as hell!,of course sex&thecity,men in trees, brothers&sisters, friends,csi miami,discovery & history channel wen somethin intresting is on,comedy central,mtv&vh1 of course!

right now i havent watched too many movies but the latest ones ive seen are spiderman3,transformers ooh i luv bumblebee!,apocalypto was da shiznit! bury my heart at wounded knee on HBO i watched that like 10 times!,last samuri, kill bill vol1&2,skinz,smoke signals,powwow highway, dreamkeeper,black cloud,whale rider,all native movies ever made!,be cool cause i watchd too many times wen my cable was off!lol!,i like watchin all kinds of comedies,dramas, love stories,fantasies,documentaries,i like scary ones as long as i got someone to watch em with!;)

i havent had too much time lately to pick up a book,but my fav is Waterlilly which i recommend to every lakota woman out there,Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee its a must read for every native,ive been reading sappy love novels i know its corny! i find most intresting of all are native books and i would love to read them all but thatd probly take a lifetime so if u have any suggestions please do..
